About Birdie Girls Golf + Social Club.

Founder and Owner, Leah Semethy, was introduced to the game of golf by her parents at a young age.  After her family relocated from the Northeast, and moved to Southwest Florida, she became more involved within the golf community.  Being raised playing golf, Leah took it a step further by volunteering and teaching junior golf with the First Tee Naples-Collier, becoming Captain of her High School Golf Team, and playing for fun throughout college.  This continued post college when Leah met her husband playing golf.  She now works full-time for a successful golf company.  

Leah was one of the few girls in her circle of friends that played golf, but didn't think too much of it, as it was mostly a family weekend activity.  Still though, it was difficult to find a group of girls around her age that wanted to play the game.  

And so, Birdie Girls Golf + Social Club was born. 

Birdie Girls was founded upon the basis that golf should be more inclusive and enjoyable for women of all ages, and welcomes all levels of golf experience.  It's about the opportunity to play the game, while finding a circle of girlfriends that you want to spend time with on and off the course.
